About Us
Missy Ward is a full-time Realtor in Lexington, KY. Growing up, she was always curious and had a way of figuring things out. After breaking her femur in two places in college, she played multiple sports and was active as a Jazzercise, Group Power, and Spin Instructor. In 2018, Dr. Selby at the University of Kentucky replaced her knee. In 2019, her hip was out. Dr. Selby replaced the hip. When he removed the rod from her previous break, her femur was thin. After four months, she started walking and two weeks later, on Friday the 13th of December in 2019, she fell and broke her femur. This series of events made her unsteady and unsafe when she walked her dog and horse.
That's when she thought, hmmm? How do people with stability issues enjoy walking their pet?
After some research and consulting with both Dr. Selby and veterinarian Dr. Ashley Keith, they confirmed that injuries caused by walking a pet are numerous and can be very serious. She continued to research the issue and found it was a huge problem with injuries ranging from cuts and bruises to Traumatic Brain Injuries.
That's when the Kruzer E-Z Leash was born. It provides a safer way to walk around and control a pet.
Pets are very important in our lives for multiple reasons. They help with loneliness, PTSD, exercise and more.
Missy hopes the Kruzer E-Z Leash will help everyone enjoy a safer walk and enjoy the benefits of owning a pet.
